TechinUK Limited, young start-up who is on the journey to expand and working on some very exciting projects, we are looking for a Programme manager in IT, Telecom and Software development, ideally will have more than 10 years of experience (preferably experienced in in Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar) market). It must be noted that this role will involve extensive travel into the middle eastern region (Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar) so anyone who has local market experience will be huge benefit.

• You will require to provide programme expertise to oversee key activities and deliverables e.g. business cases, cost and benefit estimates, programme plans, identification and mitigation of delivery risk, to ensure that appropriate targets and milestone dates are set for the speed and quality of delivery and manage the lifecycle activities to achieve those targets.

• Oversee the end-to-end programme delivery, including upfront engagement in scoping of new initiatives to support business strategy and delivery of enabling technical core network and access programmes within the scope of the portfolio.

• Oversee the IT Project and Roadmap Delivery: oversee and control the technology stack implementation, and maintain a view of what’s important for the ongoing upkeep, and improvement of IT systems, including data and security requirements

• Provide leadership for these programmes through formal governance roles, e.g. on steering committees, and by building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders involved in the delivery, including Directors in relevant domains and Directors responsible for the technical teams that staff programs.

• Make decisions that are both tactical and strategic in nature. The strategy aspects of these decisions must consider multidimensional impacts beyond the near-term delivery dates of a specific project

• Manage technology partners: will oversee the IT delivery contracts and sourcing arrangements, controlling overall partner spend and overseeing relationships with vendors to ensure contracts and SLAs are negotiated and delivered in line with strategic and financial aims.

• Ensure programme outcomes adhere to quality and regulatory standards, have minimal customer impact throughout transition, are successfully handed over to operational management, realises the business benefits and meets the cost and delivery time requirements of stakeholders
Key skills
• Leading a mindset of innovation: lead all teams to identify innovative ways to enhance the IT architecture delivery, and to optimise delivery plans, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Implement the best processes, tools and policies in a synchronized manner in order to; reduce costs, capture synergies, eliminate redundancies, group resources and optimize investments
• Deep Network & IT expertise in relevant industry: have demonstrable experience and evidence of success in a senior Network & IT management role within the telecommunications and / or wholesale business areas.
• Familiarity of technologies found in Mobile, Fixed line, Application development, Core Network infrastructure and the IT Stack.
• Knowledge of the operating models, technical architectures, and solution components used in the major markets of the telco industry globally is required.

Job Location: Hybrid ( a combination of Working from Home and Office in Reading and travel to London and overseas as required by business needs)

Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, IT, Telecommunication, or any related fields.

Certifications: Prince 2, PMP, PMI, SCRUM (all or any of these)
