Location: Hybrid (Reading, London, and Midlands)

Salary: up to £2900.00 per year

Experience: Minimum Three years

Start Date: Nov/Dec 2023 (May be early than anticipated)

Qualification: BSc Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Networks, or relevant field

Applications are welcomed from IT and Network engineers/consultant who has skills and experience to work on medium/large size projects and have the ability to lead the team, or form a team around themselves, working in fast and challenging environment, ability to deliver under pressure and act as single point of contact for customers and to hold face to face meeting where required. This role will also involve traveling to customer offices, working on customer premises, and taking this opportunity to build relationship with customer teams and peers.

Main Duties

  • In depth knowledge of Mobile networks 2G, 4G, 5G with particularly deep understanding network performance, design and operation.
  • Excellent understanding of how defined RANKPIs link to Customer Experience.
  • Able to understand the KPI structure and their counters and thresholds and how they complement each other.
  • Complete the BIS (Bring Into Service) process with Nemesis application and complete BIS HOP which will include the review off BIS reports produced internally.
  • Undertake the review of PCV (Post Change Validation)/PPM (Post Performance Monitoring) generated reports and provide feedback on the various KPI’s on 2G, 4G & 5G networks. This will involve in depth analysis of any variations in performance Pre/Post
  • Undertake the review of TTO (Transfer To Operations) reports and provide feedback on the various KPI’s and as with PCV/PPM in depth analysis of degradation relating to Thresholds.
  • Produce mitigation packs for any site that fails PCV/PPM/TTO explaining the reasoning for the failure and what can be done to remedy it or why it should mitigated.
  • Own and be the main POC for any BIS/PCV/PPM/TTO queries within the projects assigned to you.
  • Establish good relationships with Customer.
  • Be able to produce Power point packs to show the customer an E2E story of the site after an upgrade where needed.
  • Ability to convert highly technical concepts into simple to understand language for a range of audiences.
  • Proactive approach to performance of the Network that is within our care.
